Phanackapan hive eggs are a fascinating part of Phanackapan development. The bizarre mating rituals of Phanackapans are a great source of debate among academics and scholars, and much has been written on the subject, so I will not linger there.
Nevertheless, it is the consequences of the final explosion that interests us. As the gases of that final orgasmic cloud begin to condense, it begins to form small, colourful ornate eggs. Unlike the eggs of many creatures, this embryonic state is conscious and self-aware. The egg develops a mouth and eyes, and an unknown form of propulsion (although we believe Cherryade may be involved). The egg increases in size until it reaches the size of a football. The eggs act as brood guards for their younger brethren until they explode and bring a new Phanackapan variant into the universe.
