The Graveyard had accepted a long time ago that it knew it was strange that a Graveyard could even think. It didn’t like to think of things like that, and just took it for granted that every time they added one of those dead things to it, it felt like it grew a little. It knew this was odd, it might have been a Graveyard, but it was not stupid.
The Graveyard had gone to a lot of effort to be as creepy as it could, but bright sunshine always ruined the effect. The moss-covered tombstones and rusting metal fences did not give off the right vibe that it was going for in sunny conditions. The long-yellowed grasses that grew around the graves were should rustle in a spooky kind of way.
